Every week you are our guest in a different old English pub in and around Rutland, UK, where we meet the landlord, chat with interesting folk, and grapple with different topics. Sometimes it’s serious, sometimes it’s funny, sometimes we get sidetracked. So, who would want to listen to us? People who like old English pubs, bar conversations, and anyone who loves the quirkiness of what it is to be ’British’.

When Rain Stops Play, It's Time for Some Pub Natter
We both moved to Rutland about 20+ years ago but our careers kept us away from home so we don’t know as much about the County as we should. So, we thought, now that were getting old and slowing down, how can we meet interesting folk and learn as much about Rutland as possible?
The answer is to host a podcast. Welcome to Pub Natter where we get an excuse to visit a different pub every week or so, whilst letting interesting (mostly local) people tell their stories and at the same time, promoting the ales and the pubs.
In Rutland we have plenty of old and interesting pubs choose from, so this 'project' could take some time....
